CPCS Trainer Tester

Ainscough Training Services is the UK's largest independent provider of specialist training for the Management & Supervision of Lifting Operations and it is a CPCS accredited test centre as well as a CSkills assessment centre.

Duncan operates within a highly experienced team of CPCS Tester/Trainers who deliver management training from our newly built training centre in Leyland, Lancashire as well as on client's sites throughout the UK.

Career Profile

Duncan started his working career in the Armed Forces (ARMY) serving as a Combat engineer and completed his service career as a Corporal in 2003.

Duncan worked for both John Sutch Crane Hire Ltd and RMC Crane Hire as a crane operator up to 2008, including duties as a Slinger, Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person. Duncan was operating mobile cranes up to 90 tonnes lifting capacity. The range of cranes varied from Faun, PPM, Terex, Demag, Liebherr, Mieda, Kato and Grove. He gained crane operating experience on construction, rail & waterways, docklands and other associated industry projects.

Following his career as a Crane operator, Duncan joined Ainscough Training Services as a Trainer / Tester offering his experience and knowledge for our clients and candidates. He also delivers NVQ/QCF Competence based qualifications in several categories
