Ainscough Training Services is the UKs largest independent provider of specialist training for the Management & Supervision of Lifting Operations and it is a CPCS accredited test centre as well as a CSkills assessment centre.

Roy works within a team of NVQ/QCF Assessors who deliver competence based qualifications for clients throughout the UK

Career Profile

Roy started his Lifting Operations career in the Steel Erecting Industry & Construction.  Roy then moved into the dockside industry until he commenced with onshore and Offshore work with Land and Marine Project Engineering Ltd

His experience at Land & Marine led to operating Crawler cranes up to 65 tonnes lifting capacity, as well as working as a slinger/signaller, Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person. He gained crane operating experience on construction, Utilities Sector, associated industry projects.

In 2012 Roy joined Deep Ocean Uk as a deck Supervisor. During His time at Deep Ocean Uk, Roy travelled extensively throughout the world including: Germany, China & Malaysia.

Along with over 25 years experience in Fork Lift & the Telehandler categories.

Roy joined Ainscough Training Services Ltd in November 2015 and offers a wealth of experience and knowledge for our clients and candidates
