Ainscough Training Services is the UK’s largest independent provider of specialist training for the Management & Supervision of Lifting Operations and it is a CPCS accredited test centre as well as a CSkills assessment centre.

Andy works within a team of Instructors and NVQ Assessors who deliver competence based qualifications for client’s  throughout the UK

Career Profile
Andy started his construction career in the early eighties operating excavators both 360 & 180, Articulated and rigid dump trucks, Loading Shovels, Dozers, motor scrapers, and motor graders. Andy also actively carried out the role of HGV low loader driver (class 1) Slinger Signaller and lift Supervisor. In the late eighties Andy found himself in the Falkland Islands for 18 months with Laings.

Andy soon progressed to works foreman overseeing over 60 construction workers.

Andy then joined BAM Nuttall Civils as a plant instructor, NVQ assessor on various types of construction plant. Andy remained loyal to BAM for almost 12 years.

Following this Andy left British soil to pursue opportunities in Sierra Leone, Syria, Liberia & Senagal. Following a successful 6 years operating and Instructing on Tadano 30t, Liebherr LTM1090 and various other large mining plant equipment. Andy then became  the Area Learning & Development Manager.

Andy has now decided to join the Ainscough team to share his vast knowledge and experience with our customers and delegates.
