In 1984 Tim commenced his working career in the Armed Forces and completed his service career as a SNCO in 2006. Tim served in many countries across the world including tours of Bosnia, Iraq, Cyprus, Germany, Hong Kong, Kosovo & Northern Ireland. During Tim’s time in the forces he gained Instructor status and managed a team of 28 staff.
Tim then joined ATCO Structures as a Operations Manager in 2006. His responsibilities included preparation of Method statements, Risk assessments and lifting plans for the safe movement of containers. He also advised projects on Health & Safety issues including the impact on the environment and industry.
Career Profile
Tim gained valuable industry experience as a Slinger/Signaller, Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person during his time at ATCO ltd. He also advised company managers on HSAW regulations and the consequent impact on the business.

Career Profile
Dale started his working career in the Armed Forces (ARMY) serving as a Corporal and completed his service career as a Logistics Manager in 2005. Dale served in many countries across the world including tours of Iraq, Cyprus, Kosovo & Northern Ireland.
Dale joined Crane Services Ltd as a trainee crane operator in 2005, and spent two years operating mobile cranes up to 80 tonnes lifting capacity as well as working as a slinger/signaller. He gained crane operating experience on construction, rail & waterways, docklands and other associated industry projects. Dale was also actively involved in many shut down periods in the petrochemical Industry.
In 2007 Dale joined Ainscough Crane Hire operating mobile cranes up to 150 tonnes lifting capacity as well as working as a Slinger, Supervisor and Appointed Person.
Dale has now joined Ainscough Training Services Ltd offering his experience and knowledge for our clients and candidates.

Joe works within a team of CPCS Trainers / Testers & NVQ/QCF Assessors who deliver training and competence based qualifications for client’s throughout the UK.
Career Profile
Joe started his working career with PC Harrington Contractors Ltd as a trainee Health & Safety Manager. He qualified in December 2007 with NEBOSH Construction, including Managing and controlling Hazards. Joe then continued his passion for Health & Safety becoming the group Regional Manager. He covered the whole of the North of England and Scotland.
Joe has vast experience in Site Safety Audits, Management Systems and implementing safety policies and Procedures for improved site awareness.
Joe has grown up in the Crane industry and soon became an active Slinger/Signaller, Supervisor and Appointed Person, providing lifting operation guidance whilst being seconded to HTC Plant, part of the PCH Group. Recently, Joe was awarded his level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.

Owen operates within a highly experienced team of CPCS Tester/Trainers who deliver management training from our newly built training centre in Leyland, Lancashire as well as on client’s sites throughout the UK

Owen started his Lifting Operations career in the Mobile Telecoms Industry & Construction. Where Owen trained up to be a Slinger /Signaller for Commhoist Ltd
His experience in driving HGVs before joining Commhoist leading to operating mobile cranes up to 200 tonnes lifting capacity, as well as working as a slinger/signaller, Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person. He gained crane operating experience on Mobile Telecoms sites, construction, Utilities Sector and associated industry projects.

Paul works within a team of NVQ/QCF Assessors who deliver competence based qualifications for client throughout the UK
Career Profile
Paul started his Military career in the 2002 as a Royal Engineer, completing his service as a Lance Corporal in 2010. Paul served in many countries across the world including tours of Iraq, Afganastan, Eygypt ,USA, Cyprus, Germany, Kenya and Poland.
Paul was as a crane operator during his forces career, operating mobile cranes up to 35 tonnes lifting capacity, as well as working as a Slinger/Signaller & Crane Supervisor. Paul then transferred to Fugro working offshore in Singapore in a similar role.
KCA Deutag was Pauls next venture offshore as Lift Supervisor. Pauls next move was with Bryn Thomas Crane Ltd, operating a Brand new 40t Liebherr.
Pauls is a avid Sky diver completing over 350 jumps….gulp!
