We’re thrilled to share an update on the brand-new Rigging & Fleeting unit being expertly constructed by Flintshire Fabrication! Progress is going really well:
🔹 Location of 3-phase electrics has been confirmed
🔹 Gas piston rods have been finalised on the overhead hatch
🔹 Lifting beams are now being manufactured. (Maximum SWL 1000 kg)
🔹 We’re still assessing the size and type of DAVIT crane best suited for the unit.
🔹 All steelwork and lifting points will be serial number stamped and LOLER certified
The quality of workmanship from Flintshire Fabrications continues to be of the highest standard. Delivery and installation are scheduled from mid-March.
Currently we deliver Rigging and Fleeting courses at our clients’ sites, but this new unit will be an addition to the training we already deliver at our bespoke training centre in Leyland, Lancashire.
This will allow us to run open courses as well as bespoke training for clients directly at our own training centre.
This expansion takes what we can offer our customers to the next level by adding this important category to our portfolio.
