We have opportunities for: Instructor in Lifting Operations (Experience in training preferred but not essential)

We have permanent positions & sub-contractor positions available.

North West – Leyland Lancashire – You will mainly be working from Leyland in Lancashire, so you must be able to commute.

Essentially you will need experience in lifting operations and ideally as an Appointed Person along with experience as Crane Supervisor and Slinger Signaller. Other categories such as, Mobile Crane Vehicle Marshaller, Excavator, are an advantage, but not essential.

Full-Time Instructor:

Location: Leyland, Lancashire
Based at our bespoke training facility in Leyland Lancashire you will also have responsibilities that entails travel around the North West and nationwide. However you will be mainly working from Leyland Lancashire.

 Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Essentially you will need experience in lifting operations and ideally as an Appointed Person along with experience as Crane Supervisor and Slinger Signaller.
    Other categories such as Mobile Crane Vehicle Marshaller, Excavator, are an advantage, but not essential. Experience in training is not essential.
  • Passion to train the next generation: A genuine desire to pass your skills and knowledge onto the next generation.
  • Communication Skills: Effective written & verbal communication is essential in this role. The ability to communicate at all levels with the ability to give empathy and guidance throughout the training process.
  • Driving License: A current driving license is a must.
  • Basic IT skills and a good understanding of Microsoft office including PowerPoint & presentations.
  • Attributes: We seek a dedicated and proactive individual who is dedicated to cultivating the skills and talents of others, you will need excellent communication and presentation skills, keen attention to detail, and a drive for success, along with flexibility, ownership, and a quick learning aptitude.
