What is the role of the Slinger Signaller

The Slinger/Signaller is responsible for attaching / detaching the load to and from the crane or lifting equipment and directing crane movements during the lifting operation.

The Slinger/Signaller is the eyes and ears of the crane operator who can’t always see everything that is happening around them. They are responsible for giving clear signals or verbal communication to the operator to ensure loads are lifted and placed safely.

If you are new to lifting then this is the best course to start with.
