Ainscough Training have introduced a vast range of measures to ensure our training centre is as safe as possible for candidates and staff.

As we have now been placed in tier 3, this has mainly effected the social side of our area. You are still allowed to travel for work and education and as such all our courses due to commence week commencing 19th October and there after are still running.

When you enter the training centre you will be required to log in to our Swipedon System. This will ensure we have all your details for governments track and trace.
The NHS track and trace QR code is visible at reception for you to download. You must wear a face covering in this area until you reach your specified training area.

You will be greeted by your instructor who will direct you to your area for training. (If your instructor is not there please ring the bell)
Please use the sanitising station on entry
Your Instructor will be wearing a face shield. (subject to guidelines)

Each area has its own sanitising stations and stickers along the floor to mark the two-metre distance.

Our communal areas are kept to a minimum with signs indicating the strict number of people allowed in the area & face coverings must be worn.

We have a dedicated cleaning company who thoroughly cleans each area daily and a deep clean prior to each courses commencing, there is also additional self-serve cleaning facilities.

All our NVQs are conducted on a one to one basis and can be done remotely with practical elements assessed outside socially distant

If you experience any symptoms that you think may be linked to Coronavirus, please alert your Instructor immediately and you will be required to go home and self- isolate.
If you are at home and experience any symptoms, please do not come into our training centre. Please notify us as soon as possible that you will not be able to attend by calling 01772 623591 or emailing info@ainscoughtraining.co.uk and seek a test via the NHS.

  • Where can I find the most up-to-date information on Ainscough Training Centres approach to Coronavirus?

Any new updates provided by our training centre, specifically in relation to Coronavirus will be placed on this page and our main social media channels. At this time, it is vital that the contact details we hold for you are correct and up to date.

  • Do I have to wear a face covering?

All candidates travelling to and from the centre on public transport are required to follow official Government guidance and wear a face covering for the duration of their journey (unless exempt). Once on our site, there is no requirement to wear a face covering outside, however, social distancing guidelines should still be followed.

Inside, or in classrooms, face coverings are optional as all our classrooms meet the social distance guidelines of 2 metres. We also take advantage of our vast out- door area, however strict social distancing rules still apply.

There is limited access to communal areas, however should the need arise you will be expected to wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

If you are taking your health & safety touch screen test with us, you will be required to wear a face covering during the test

Will I have to bring food and drink with me, or will food outlets be open?

We encourage all candidates to bring a bottle of water with them. Individual COVID secure packed lunches will be provided. Your joining instructions will ask for any dietary requirements, or you can contact us a minimum of one week prior to the course to let us know your requirements.

  • What will happen in the event of another lockdown, if the training centre has to close

Should another lockdown occur, forcing the centre to close buildings, teaching will go to on-line learning for the Appointed Person category and all other courses that need to be rescheduled will have the option be refunded or can rebook on a later date.

  • What do I do if someone in my household tests positive for Covid-19?

If someone you live with tests positive for Covid-19, and following Public Health England’s guidance, you are required to self-isolate for 14 days. Please inform the training centre as soon as possible.
