Position: Full-Time NVQ Assessor
Location: Leyland, Lancashire.
Based at our bespoke training facility in Leyland, you will also have responsibilities that entail travel around the North West and nationwide.

The Opportunity:
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time NVQ Assessor to join our dynamic team. As an NVQ Assessor at Ainscough Training, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality assessment and coaching for our competence-based qualifications to our clients nationwide.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: While experience in the Assessor role is desirable, we welcome candidates with experience in the lifting industry to Appointed Person Level. Our key categories are the CPCS Mobile Crane Operator, Slinger Signaller, Crane Supervisor, Appointed Person and more recently we also assess and train for the Compact Crane, Vehicle Marshaller, Crawler Crane & Tele Handler.
  • Communication Skills: Effective written & verbal communication is essential in this role,
  • Driving License: A current driving license is a must.
  • Certifications: D32/33 or A1 or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Basic IT skills and a good understanding of outlook
  • Attributes: We are looking for self-motivated individuals with strong numeracy and literacy skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Team Player: You should be able to work collaboratively as part of a team while also possessing the self-motivation and self-discipline to work independently at client sites across the UK.
